Two cold fronts will bring cooler temperatures to San Antonio this week, beginning Wednesday.

Wednesday (High 69 and Low 43): A cold front will move in late morning with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms developing as it moves through the area. As of late Tuesday afternoon, there is only a slight risk the storms become severe in San Antonio.

High temperatures could possibly be cooler if the cold front moves in earlier. The rain should end by the evening.

Thursday (High 66 and Low 41): Despite the front, temperatures will warm up by the afternoon with plenty of sunshine.

Friday (High 57 and Low 31): A high pressure system will move into San Antonio, dropping temperatures about 10 degrees from the previous day.

Saturday (High 54 and Low 38): A cold front will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms to the area overnight and into Sunday morning. This system is expected to keep the highs in the 50s in San Antonio for a couple of days.

Sunday (High 50 and Low 36): Expect showers to start the day but receding by the evening. Expect breezy conditions with wind gusts near 20 mph. Temperatures will drop once the rain ends, and San Antonians will wake up to temps near freezing on Monday morning.
