The Moody Center, the new concert venue, Longhorns basketball arena, and home of Harry Styles, has announced a partnership with San Antonio-based grocery giant H-E-B.

According to a press release sent on Thursday by the Moody Center, H-E-B is the official grocery retail partner of the 15,000-seat arena on UT Austin’s campus. The grocery chain will have “a prominent brand presence within the arena and the opportunity to integrate the H-E-B brand with music, sports, and live entertainment fans from Austin and beyond,” and will partner with the arena for its Spirit of Giving philanthropic initiatives.

“H-E-B is a brand that is iconic to Texas and beloved by the Austin community so it feels very natural to have them as a founding partner of Moody Center,” says Dan Griffis, president of OVG Global Partnerships, in a news release. “More importantly, H-E-B shares our same commitment to giving back and we will work tirelessly together to make a lasting and meaningful impact in the city that means so much to us both.”

The release notes that when the Moody Center officially opened at the end of April with concerts by Willie Nelson and George Strait, H-E-B provided free tickets to a military family as a way to kick off the partnership between the retailer and the arena.

“We are pleased to help bring a premier arena to the city of Austin and The University of Texas,” says Cathy Harm, H-E-B group vice president of Central Texas, in the release. “For 117 years, we’ve made it our mission to make the lives of people better, and through…
