Fashion for Life’s 2026 Purple Reign: Evolution Fashion Show at the Tobin Center October 17, 2026
SAN ANTONIO, TX — Fashion, purpose and community will share the runway this fall as Fashion For Life San Antonio presents The 2026 Purple Reign: Evolution Fashion Show on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.
Held during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the annual fundraiser will bring together fashion designers, models, advocates, community leaders and supporters for an evening designed to do more than showcase style. Purple Reign is built around a larger mission: raising awareness about domestic violence while helping survivors rebuild their lives.
This year’s theme, “Evolution,” focuses on growth, freedom and resilience. The runway will feature prominent male fashion figures alongside rising local designers and internationally recognized talent, creating a showcase that connects haute couture with community impact.
Fashion With a Greater Purpose
Fashion For Life describes itself as a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for survivors of domestic violence in the San Antonio community. Through fashion, education, mentorship and community service, the organization works to create spaces where survivors can heal, rebuild confidence and rediscover their self-worth.
Founded in 2020 as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Fashion For Life says funds raised support front-line organizations providing services that can include emergency shelter, legal advocacy, counseling and transitional assistance for survivors throughout Central Texas.
The organization reports that it has already hosted four sold-out fashion shows and raised more than $25,000, directing funds to mission-driven organizations serving domestic violence survivors across the San Antonio metropolitan area.
That history gives Purple Reign a different energy from the typical fashion event. The clothes may command the spotlight, but the reason behind the runway is what gives the evening its weight.
“Fashion is our medium, but freedom and healing are our ultimate mission,” Fashion For Life founder Matthew Smith said in the organization’s press materials. The organization is calling on the community to stand together through compassion, advocacy and collective action.
What San Antonio Can Expect
The evening begins with an exclusive VIP reception from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., featuring red carpet arrivals, live entertainment and networking opportunities with designers and advocates.
The main runway presentation and program runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., combining couture collections with survivor stories and calls to action supporting the fight against domestic violence.
The Tobin Center lists the performance inside the Carlos Alvarez Studio Theater, located at 100 Auditorium Circle in downtown San Antonio. Tickets currently begin at $104, while VIP seating is listed at $147.50 and includes access to the pre-performance reception. The Tobin Center notes that ticket pricing is all-inclusive of fees and taxes.
