San Antonio will see two new COVID-19 vaccination hubs launch Monday on the South and West Sides.

Eligible residents will be able to receive the vaccination on the South Side at the WellMed Elvira Cisneros Senior Community Center. To register for an appointment, call 833-968-1745.

On the West Side, eligible residents will be able to visit the Alicia Treviño López Senior Community Center. Those interested can register for an appointment by calling 833-968-1745.

Walk-ins are unavailable at either location.

San Antonio Councilwomen Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia, Ana Sandoval and Rebecca Viagran made the announcement on Saturday morning at a livestreamed press conference.

“People who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine per the states’e guidelines for Phase 1A and 1B will have the opportunity to schedule an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine,” said councilwoman Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia on Facebook.

Those that meet the qualifications for Phase 1A and 1B are healthcare workers, residents at long-term care facilities, residents who are 65-years-old or older those who are 16 and older with a chronic medical condition.
