After a brief hiatus from the Musk Watch — won’t this man do something weird more often? — we’re back. This one, once again, concerns the ongoing saga of Musk’s personal life. This week, a dip into the past, which is not always totally clear. We know about the minutiae of Musk’s daily life, but not so much, you know, if his dad really owned an emerald mine in Zambia or whatever.

A few days ago, news broke that someone was selling off some Musk ephemera. That person turned out to be a former paramour from his time at the University of Pennsylvania, Jennifer Gwynne. Comprising much of the auction, which ends on September 14, are many photos of Musk just vibing as an undergrad. The most expensive, so far, is one showing Musk going absolutely bonkers on the computer.

According to RR Auctions, which is facilitating the sale, they all come from between 1994-95, when Musk and Gwynne were resident advisors at UPenn The couple started dating that fall, and beyond the images of the two lovebirds, there’s also a happy birthday card addressed to Gwynn — he calls her “boo-boo,”…
