My name is Manny Diotte, and I wanted to welcome you to The Ferrari Kid. I am a cancer survivor, speaker, author, coach and part-time kid. Speaking of kids, please take some time to look at our celebrity kids. These kids are coping with cancer, dealing with illness, going through chemotherapy, radiation, and so much more. Our goal at The Ferrari Kid is to give those kids a chance to forget about all of that for a day and remind them that they were born for greatness. We have the privilege of picking the kids up in Ferraris and treating them to a “celebrity-like” day. All of this is made possible through our generous sponsors.

Our local complex system of health care and human services offers a wealth of assistance. Unfortunately, navigating this service system can be an overwhelming task for many families. We believe that with support, encouragement, and assistance, families can overcome any obstacles they face.
Every child deserves a chance at a better life
All children should be accepted, appreciated, and loved; receive proper nutrition, adequate health care, education, and all the things that will give him or her a chance for a healthy life.
All children can reach their full potential
Children born with a chronic illness, complex medical needs, or other special needs are entitled to a happy, full life and, given the needed resources, will reach their maximum potential.
History of Any Baby Can
In 1982 Marian Sokol, Ph.D., a special needs teacher, saw a great need among the families she served. With a small grant and in a trailer behind Santa Rosa Hospital, she began her mission of helping families with children who had a chronic illness, disability or developmental delay.
To her surprise she received over 500 phone calls for help within the first six months and realized there was indeed a great need in this community for case management support and information on how families could receive help in time of hardship. Fast forward 30 years later and here Any Baby Can is today still doing much of what Dr. Sokol did but with expanded services to address the ever-growing needs in our community.
For 75 years, John T. Floore’s Country Store has hosted Texas and American music legends alike. This quintessential Texas Honky Tonk has hosted such legendary performers as Willie Nelson, Bob Wills, Ernest Tubb, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Jerry Lee Lewis, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yoakam, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, B.B. King, Little Richard and many many more. Known by many as the musical “birthplace” of Willie Nelson, Willie immortalized John T. Floore in his hit recording “Shotgun Willie”. John T. Floore and Wille Nelson were partners in the original Willie Nelson Music Company. Texas Monthly listed John T. Floore Country Store as one of the “50 Things Every Texan Should Do”.
Opened in 1942 by Mr. John T. Floore, himself, John T. Floore Country Store was not a store at all, but a unique Texas Dance Hall and Cafe. Floore’s, long renowned for its world famous tamales and homemade bread, offers a full menu of great “Texas Cafe” style food, ice cold beer and and truly unique “Texccentric” atmosphere.
